Zoe Pins - PE Specialist

Zoe has always had a passion for dancing and took classes from the age of 4 in ballet, jazz and gymnastic dance. She graduated in 2018 with a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies from Birmingham City University. She has qualified teaching status (Level 6), and has always enjoyed working with children.

Zoe ran the dance club whilst in sixth form at her secondary school, and it was during that time that she discovered her love of creating choreography, encouraging others to reach their potential and most importantly, creating an inclusive environment. During her summers whilst at University, she volunteered at a dance therapy charity called Icandance, working with children with a range of disabilities. This experience gave her a new perspective on children's dance. She believes that it is very important to allow children to be free to express themselves through movement and dance, no matter what their ability.

As a dance teacher, she hopes to pass on the same feeling she had when she attended dance classes herself. She wants children to feel that they can escape the pressures of school work and lose themselves in the music.
